Rob has been the President of Castle since inception in 1995. Prior to formation of Castle, he held positions as Director, Secretary/Treasurer, and Controller with various large volume corporations in the Automotive and Oil & Gas industries.  Rob is an active member of the Certified General Accountant Association of Alberta, the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Advocis.  Other memberships include CALU and CAFE.

 

Rob was born in Gimli, Manitoba and settled down in Calgary, Alberta where he met his wife Sue.  Rob and Sue are proud supporters of the Calgary Flames and the Calgary Stampeders Football Club.  Rob enjoys his time golfing both at home and in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

Rob is a Dealing Representative of Portfolio Strategies Corporation.

Rob graduated from the University of Calgary in 1983 with a Bachelor of Commerce.  He later obtained his Accounting designation in 1987 and in 1999 became a Certified Financial Planner.
